With the aging of society becoming more and more significant, the health of the elderly and the life of the elderly have attracted more and more attention from the society. As the saying goes, "Old people get old first." If the old people's legs and feet are not flexible, they will have a lot of inconvenience in life. Improve the mobility of the elderly's legs and feet, and help the elderly to walk easily and freely. It is our top priority to care about the health of the elderly. The walker for the elderly is small and practical. While helping the elderly to go for a walk, it can solve the pain of the elderly walking and tired to the greatest extent.
Walker, also known as Walking Frame, is another common walker. It is generally made of aluminum alloy and is a triangular (front and left and right) metal frame that is light enough to protect the patient in it, and some have casters. The walker can support the body weight for easy standing or walking, and its supporting area is large, so the stability is good. There are mainly the following types:

  1. Fixed type It is often used to reduce the load on one lower limb. When the lower limb is injured or fractured and does not allow weight bearing, at this time, lift both handrails and place them forward on the ground instead of one foot, and then step on the healthy leg.
   2. Interactive type Small size, no casters, adjustable height. When using, move one side forward first, then move the remaining side forward, and so on and so forth alternately. It is suitable for patients with poor standing balance, weak lower limb muscle strength or the elderly. The advantage is that it is also very convenient to go to the toilet.
  3. Wheel type in front It is used for those with weak upper limb muscle strength and difficulty in lifting the walker on one side or the whole. At this time, the front wheel is on the ground, and the back foot can be pushed forward after lifting the walker.
  4. Walking car for the elderly This car is different from the above three types. It has four wheels and is easy to move; instead of using the hand to operate, place the forearm flat on the washer to move forward. This car is suitable for the elderly who walk unsteadily, but pay attention to keep the body perpendicular to the ground when using it, otherwise it is easy to slip.
  5. Axillary-supported walker: The two armpits support the body weight while walking. It has four casters and is the largest in size. It is used for those with poor upper limb muscle strength.
  6. The unilateral walker is very stable, suitable for hemiplegia patients or patients who are still not stable enough with a four-legged cane. The disadvantage is that it is heavier than a four-legged cane.
